Here’s a question for you:
Have you spent money on Facebook ads for your home cleaning business yet?
As it turns out this is a good idea, but you might be wasting dollars if you aren’t spending it on the right service.
There are two ways to give Facebook money for sponsored posts:
- You can try boosted posts. If you have a Facebook account, and a business page, you may have received a $15 dollars off discount on these. This post will get seen by more people, but it does not focus on a specific group. Like a sprinkler, it sprays in all directions aimlessly, possibly hitting your flowers on the edge of the yard.
- Facebook ad campaigns are targeted toward groups who have already expressed interest in your cleaning company. They are more direct, like using a watering can, putting your ads straight in front of the most relevant people. These campaigns are the only way to use retargeting.
Use retargeting on Facebook to advertise your home cleaning company
Using retargeting methods, you can focus ads to people who have previously visited your maid service’s website.
You want to do this because each new person who comes to your page, is not likely to opt in during their initial interaction.
However, if you utilize retargeting, they will see an ad for your business once they pop back over to Facebook.
This keeps you on their mind and reminds them of the great things your residential cleaning company is offering to them.
If you are not using retargeting, set it up here, and don’t miss out on any more leads!
Warning: This will grow your business
If you don’t want to expand – if you’re ready to throw in the towel – then this process isn’t for you.
That’s not you though, “as a person who has already taken the leap to be a business owner [you] are uniquely suited to do just that.”
The idea is: your residential cleaning company ads will keep coming up and creating additional interactions.
It’s nice because the ads will only focus on real leads, those who have already considered getting that amazing clean home feeling from your maid service.
The easiest road to retargeting
As we mentioned earlier, retargeting is important because people don’t typically buy during a first contact. Fear not though, there are many ways that you can get to your retargeting goals.
To save you from some of the more difficult and strenuous paths, here is the easy one. It looks a little like this:
Basically, you turn your advertising into money!
By targeting the people visiting your home cleaning company’s website or watching your videos, you will find the interested audience you seek.
Throw in any email lists you have access to, and there you have it: a following to engage with.
Send these people an offer, such as the “Get a free oven cleaning when you book today” example seen in the picture above.
Now, the money you are spending on Facebook advertising goes directly to the master list of people you’ve created from your engagements.
These folks are the ones who will get the offer or discount simply by booking with your maid service one time.
Having already noticed your cleaning business before, they are now more likely to find out more. The little freebee or discount just sweetens the deal.
Once contact details have been entered into your system, that person becomes a new lead and you are notified.
Now you can use that information to reach those who have already interacted with your residential cleaning business.
Update potential and current cleaning clients about all the great specials and rates you provide.
Sell your superior cleaning services with the more focused approach, and get the most out of your advertising budget.
It really can be that easy.
“I am a firm believer that as human beings we have an unlimited amount of potential” – Owen Lutz
Next, we will uncover 3 secrets you need to know to use retargeting to grow your home cleaning business.
Think about the last 100 people who contacted your business. How many of those have you converted to monthly customers?
Now consider these questions:
- Are you looking for more profitable advertising?
- Do you want to know more about how social media can help your business?
- Would you like to increase the success of your home cleaning company?
If you answered yes, then be sure to check out the full article breaking down the secrets we learned about social media advertising.
