22 Content Ideas for your Maid Service
Your Company’s Blog Posts – Hopefully you have been creating blog posts for your Maid Service website. If not, you should start. Blogging boosts your SEO and can be great material to share with your local community.
Posts Showing Your Company’s Culture – You run a great business. You have awesome cleaners. And you all have a lot of fun working together. Right? Be sure to showcase that on your company page so that you can engage with your audience on a more human level.
Industry News – What’s going on in the industry? Are there updates your audience might want to hear about?
Curated Content – Sharing others’ content in your niche is a great – and super easy – way to provide value for your social media followers and provide them with value.
Promote your partners – Do you work with any great partners? What are you doing in the community? Perhaps you partner with Cleaning for a Reason? Share this stuff!
Product Company Videos – You’ve put a tonne of effort into finding the right products to work with to leave homes sparkling. Be sure to share a bit about those too.
Answers to commonly asked questions – Are there some questions that just keep coming up? Why not post about them on your website and/or social media so that people can find the information they need quickly and easily?
How To videos – You’re a cleaning pro. Why not create some video content showing that, and helping others to make the world shine too. You don’t even need any fancy equipment – smart phone cameras are great these days!
Customer Reviews & Testimonials – People love people. And they LOVE to see other people happy. Show examples of just how happy you have made your clients on your website and on social media.
Memes or GIFS – it doesn’t all have to be serious. Memes and GIFs are a great way to keep the tone light and provide some entertainment for those in your audience.
Contests Posts – Running a contest is an amazing way to get a lot of eyeballs on your business. Maybe you can give a free cleaning, maybe it’s a gift token or a gift. Whatever awesome prize you go with, people will be excited at the prospect of winning and will happily share about you to do so.
Holiday Posts – Don’t forget to post about special occasions. Mothers’ Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Independence Day… so many great opportunities to celebrate with your audience. For bonus points, run promotions or giveaways to get more engagement on these posts.

Reshare top performing posts – of course, some of these posts will perform better for your business than others. Think about sharing the posts that do well. You can easily recycled content after 3 or more months – your audience’s memory of your posts is unlikely to stretch that far back!
