But Ray had a lot of churn with these clients. The problem: The majority of leads didn\u2019t convert.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Were they just bad <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/magazine\/daisy-foster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leads<\/a>? Not necessarily. There\u2019s two reasons for the lack of conversions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The leads weren\u2019t ready for the sale. According to Ray, 63% of all consumers who request information about your company won\u2019t purchase for the next three months.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>His clients didn\u2019t have a sales process that included a way to nurture or follow up with those leads. Failure to nurture leads is the reason 79% of them don\u2019t convert, says Ray.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, Ray does more than connect cleaning service owners to potential clients. He teaches them how to become the top choice when those leads are ready to book a cleaning appointment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re struggling to convert leads into sales, read on to learn the three-step blueprint Ray uses to help his clients.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 100px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"heading-1\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1: Build up your database<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Potential customers likely come to you from various sources, including phone calls, emails, your website, and social media.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It costs you time and money to acquire their interest, so don\u2019t waste it by failing to add them to your database.<br><br>Your sales process should include a way to get their information and then organize it so you can follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always ask for names, phone numbers, email addresses, and home addresses \u2013 all the information you\u2019d need to create a quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a simple way to organize this information. If you don\u2019t invest in software to do this automatically, a spreadsheet is always an easy, low-tech option.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/get.zenmaid.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/free-trial-banner-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<h2 id=\"heading-2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: Keep in touch with your leads<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>So you\u2019ve landed the leads and added them to your database. If they don\u2019t convert, then it\u2019s time to nurture them. This means reaching out with helpful information that makes them know, like, and trust you.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Often, businesses only use email to nurture leads. Ray recommends including text messages and phone calls.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>No matter the method, showcase your company\u2019s value and offer plenty of reasons why people should choose you. Chances are good that 30 out every 100 leads is comparing you to other cleaning services. If your answer is one or two times, it\u2019s not enough. Consider these statistics:<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>95% of leads need six calls before they convert<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li>60% of consumers say no four times before saying yes.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to make sure your automated sales process includes all of the necessary follow-ups.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<h2 id=\"heading-5\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3: Deliver what you promised<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>While sales and marketing systems are important, what ultimately sets companies apart is the experience the consumer has with you and your staff.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After you\u2019ve converted your leads, it\u2019s time to make good on the value you\u2019ve promised in your nurture sequence.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>High-quality work with results that clients love encourages repeat bookings.
