id=\"the-first-steps-into-the-maid-service-ownership-world\">The first steps into the Maid Service ownership world<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal jumped into her dream head first.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After completing the mindmap, she thought of the idea to form her home cleaning company, immediately purchased a URL, and created a \u201ccoming soon\u201d page on Facebook.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Then Crystal had someone build her a website &#8211; because having a functional website is a must.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" field.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal actually walked around in a store while her new cleaner told her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/equipment-resources-cleaning-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>what supplies to buy\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>to get the Maid Service up and running properly.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After that, Crystal started up with marketing, using any free options available she could use to get the word out there about her amazing new cleaning company.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"heading-4\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"that-moment-when-you-get-your-first-cleaning-client\">That moment when you get your first cleaning client<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After just a few weeks of very focused work, Crystal got her first client.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" Owner road to success\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>She was so excited for business, she completely undercharged a general clean of a 3500 square-foot home at $100 and spent hours completing the cleaning service.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>This was a lesson for Crystal because\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/magazine\/how-to-price-your-maid-service-cleanings-the-right-way-every-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>pricing your services appropriately<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is crucial to your Maid Service growth.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal learned quickly, though, her first month\u2019s revenue was $485, but she increased it to $3500 by the second month and kept moving forward.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/zenmaidmastermind\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-first-years-as-the-owner-of-a-maid-service\">The first years as the owner of a Maid Service<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Most of her first official year, Crystal spent time hiring and training more employees.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>She also continued to work on her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/magazine\/grow-your-cleaning-business-with-social-media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>marketing efforts on social media<\/strong><\/a> and by the end of that year, she was able to reach $9500 in monthly revenue.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Year two began with Crystal having three cleaners on her Maid Service staff.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>The monthly revenue went up from $10,000 to $18,000 from January to March of that year.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>With such a rhythm going, Crystal wasn\u2019t done improving yet.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" the first Maid Service office staff hire<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>After profits started to go up, Crystal could no longer handle all of the office work on her own and was able to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/magazine\/hiring-a-virtual-assistant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>hire a great person to help<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Her cleaning business went from $18000 to $45,000 a month within the year.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>This hire allowed her to have the freedom she needed in her cleaning business.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal now had the time and energy to create ideas that would help her Maid Service grow exponentially.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n<div staff) that second year is that I really started to perfect my system and my process.\u201d \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; Crystal Hamm<\/em><\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Having systems in place is critical to the growth of your Maid Service, so Crystal obtained a stronger phone system and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>great scheduling software<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"heading-8\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-maid-service-owner-s-happily-ever-after\">A Maid Service owner\u2019s happily ever after<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Dreams are meant to be chased, so Crystal continued to build her cleaning business by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=C6pfM0fXTDQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>\u00a0implementing automation systems<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and she hired a second office employee.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>She also kept up with the marking strategies that she was using, and they were doing quite well.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>She was able to expand her cleaning business to over $70,000 in revenue, just with organic Facebook marketing.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal\u2019s company started to earn awards and gain recognition, and they are now at $100,000 in monthly revenue.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>However, this isn\u2019t a fairy tale and the story doesn\u2019t end there.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"heading-9\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"make-your-own-maid-service-dreams-come-true\">Make your own Maid Service dreams come true<\/h3>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Crystal attributes her success to her passion, purpose, marketing, great systems, service, and vision.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" too.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>So, if you enjoy your home cleaning business and are willing to learn more about it, you too can earn substantial amounts of money doing what you love.<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<p>All you need to do is consider a few things:<\/p>\r\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Passion:\u00a0<\/strong>You should be completely invested and take pleasure in what you do for a living.<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li><strong>Purpose:\u00a0<\/strong>Make a difference in the lives of others by doing what you love. Pay your employees what they deserve, reward them for a job well done. The employees\u2019 adoration of your brand will overflow to your cleaning clients.<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li><strong>Marketing:\u00a0<\/strong>Utilize organic Facebook Ads and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenmaid.com\/magazine\/6-unique-ways-to-promote-your-maid-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>market any way you can<\/strong><\/a> to get your Maid Service out into the world.<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li><strong>Systems and processes:\u00a0<\/strong>Have automated systems and processes in place for your cleaning services and work to optimize them often.<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li><strong>Service:\u00a0<\/strong>Since you are in the service industry, do little things for your clients to show you care. Offer welcome packages, quality checks and be sure to respond quickly to inquiries. There are so many cleaning services out there so make yours stands out.<\/li>\n\n\r\n\r\n\n<li><strong>Goals and vision:\u00a0<\/strong>Set your goals with your vision in mind.
