Learn how to inactivate/deactivate or reactivate a cleaner's profile.
Inactivating Cleaners
From the ZenMaid Dashboard, click on the Cleaners icon.
Find the cleaner's name and click on it to open their profile page.
Use the Actions button and click on Inactivate.
A warning pop-up window will appear, click OK, and the cleaner will be deactivated.
If the cleaner is logged into the ZenMaid app, they'll be signed out automatically and prompted to log back in.
Reactivating Cleaners
Click the Cleaners icon in the left side menu, then select All Cleaners.
Filter the cleaners to show only the inactive ones.
Find the cleaner you want to reactivate and click their name to open their profile.
Use the Actions button and then click on Reactivate.
A warning pop-up will appear. Click OK to confirm, and the cleaner will be reactivated.
If you or the cleaner doesn't remember the previous password you set up, you'll need to create a new one.
Additional Notes
If you rehire a cleaner whose profile was deactivated, you can reactivate it by following the steps below.
Inactivating a cleaner preserves their account data while deleting them removes it.
Inactivating a cleaner will de-assign them from their assigned teams and appointments from the date you deactivate them, unless you do this beforehand.
Your plan rate will automatically update based on the revised number of active cleaners. Managing your team effectively ensures that your subscription is tailored to your needs and minimizes additional costs.
Each ZenMaid subscription must stay under the original owner’s account. Account access should not be transferred or shared with others, in line with our one-login-per-user policy. For details, visit: https://get.zenmaid.com/terms-of-service?
